Our Founders:
Jamie Gregory
Jamie is a UK native who has spent over a decade working at a high-end, internationally-recognised interior product brand with Chinese operations. He oversaw the company’s expansion into the Chinese market, forming local partnerships and opening offices and dedicated showrooms in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. He brings to My Red Compass a wealth of manufacturing contacts throughout China, and an in-depth knowledge of Chinese business practices.
Katie Zou
Katie’s experience of China’s vast manufacturing sector started in her family’s clothes shop. From an early age she visited wholesale markets with her parents, and by her teens she was already sourcing product and conducting negotiations on her own. Educated in both the UK and China, she worked at a British private education company as it launched in China, and then spent many years interpreting and consulting for foreign companies sourcing products and services in China. Now based in the UK, Katie is uniquely placed to bridge the cultural gap between overseas businesses and their Chinese partners.
